Privacy Policy
How 0DB collects, uses, stores and protects personal data, and the rights you have over it.
Draft of 13 September 2026. Not yet in force.
Scope
This policy covers personal data 0DB collects through this website, including the enquiry form, and through direct correspondence with us. Personal data held inside a private AI deployment 0DB has built for a client is a separate matter: it is governed by the written agreement for that engagement, under which 0DB acts on the client’s documented instructions rather than for its own purposes.
What we collect
From the enquiry form: your name, company, job title, work email address, industry, what you are trying to build or improve, the systems or data involved, your desired timing, and the consent you give to be contacted. From your visit: IP address, browser type and language, access times, the referring page, and the pages you view. From correspondence: whatever you choose to send us.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and arrange a working session; to prepare for and carry out an engagement if one follows; to keep a record of the consent and correspondence behind it; and to understand in aggregate how this site is used so we can improve it. Enquiry data is never used to train an AI model, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
Legal bases
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the consent you give on the enquiry form, on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and in operating and securing this site, and on our legal obligations where they apply. Where India’s DPDPA applies, we rely on the consent given at the point of collection. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand in aggregate how it is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and how the site performs. Google Analytics sets cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and processes that data on Google’s infrastructure, which may include servers outside your country. We use it for measurement only. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not combine analytics data with the details you give us on the enquiry form. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request your browser makes for them. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the site and correspond with you, each under contract and only for that purpose; professional advisers where we need their help; and any authority where the law or valid legal process requires it. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
Where it is processed
0DB is incorporated in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal data moves out of the UK, the EU or India, we rely on the transfer safeguards available under the applicable law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as we need it to respond and, where a relationship follows, for the life of that relationship and the record-keeping period required afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy in portable form, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw consent. Tell us and we will act within the period the applicable law allows. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
This site and our internal systems run with access controls, encryption in transit, and security review built into how we work. The controls that apply to systems we build for clients are described against the deployment model they apply to on our security page. Where a specific system built on the platform has completed an audit, we name that system rather than describing 0DB itself as certified.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We will post a notice at the top of this page for thirty days when this policy changes in a material way. If we intend to use personal data in a way that differs from what applied when it was collected, we will tell you and give you a choice.
Contact
A named data protection contact, a registered address and an email address for privacy requests are still to be confirmed, and will be published here before this policy is finalised. Until then, please use the enquiry form on our contact page.
